Types of international accreditation for trainers
Trainer associated with an accredited training centre
After meeting the OAB-UK standards for trainer accreditation, a trainer is nominated for certification through a training centre accredited by the OAB-UK. They are granted membership as an OAB-UK-accredited international trainer, according to the rank that best suits their qualifications and experience. Their verified account on the OAB-UK website is linked to the name of one or more accredited training centres. A request to issue certificates to participants in the certified courses they offer is submitted through the accredited training centre's account.
Independent Trainer
A trainer who trains independently from any training centre is accredited after meeting the OAB-UK standards for accrediting trainers. He is granted membership as an international trainer certified by the OAB-UK, according to the rank that best suits his qualifications and experience. He is also entitled to submit a request for certificates for participants in his accredited courses directly through his verified account on the OAB-UK website.
Trainer Accreditation System
- The trainer is entitled to accreditation in a maximum of two training fields, provided they are accredited in at least one training package in each field.
- The trainer’s accreditation is valid for two years, and they must be of the same rank. The certification must be renewed every two years or according to the package system in which the trainer participates upon accreditation.

- If he meets the requirements of a higher rank
- The trainer must obtain a course at the rank he wishes to achieve after passing the interview, which qualifies him to attend the course and complete the academic and practical end-of-course tests.
- A trainer affiliated with a training institution can be accredited by more than one certified training institution, provided the number of institutions with which they are affiliated does not exceed three.
- The request for issuing certificates must be submitted to the training package organiser’s account. The training institution or the independent trainer organises the training package. Therefore, a trainer affiliated with the training institution is not entitled to submit a request for issuing certificates.
