The Leadership and Emotional Intelligence programme responds to the growing need for leaders who combine managerial competence with self-awareness and an understanding of others. In today’s rapidly changing work environments, technical skills alone are no longer sufficient to lead teams effectively. The programme explores the concept of emotional intelligence, including its types, characteristics, objectives, advantages and disadvantages. It examines the relationship between emotional intelligence, the qualities of successful leaders and different management leadership styles. It also highlights the role of empathy in effective leadership, the challenges leaders face when applying emotional intelligence principles in the workplace, and strategies for developing emotional intelligence among leaders and employees. The programme concludes by exploring how emotional intelligence can be applied to workplace problem-solving. Delivered over four days, the programme comprises four training modules, with four training hours per day, totalling 16 training hours. It is designed for managers and employees seeking to develop a more self-aware, effective and influential approach to leadership.
